What to Expect

First Visit

Brief Paperwork
Upon entering the office, we have some brief paperwork for you to fill out. The paperwork provides us with general information about yourself and your condition. To minimize your wait time, you can get started with your paperwork by accessing our new patient forms here (link).

Consultation
Once the paperwork has been completed, you will have a consultation with the doctor to discuss your health-related problems, concerns, as well as potential treatment options. At this time, we will determine if chiropractic care can benefit you or if referral to a specialist is necessary.

History and Examination
In order to determine a proper diagnosis, the doctor will ask you various questions related to your condition. Next, a number of detailed, specialized examinations will be conducted to determine how to best manage your case.

During your initial examination, our doctors carefully and thoroughly conduct various orthopedic, neurological, and visceral examinations as warranted.

X-Ray Studies
Your specific condition may require that we take x-rays. X-rays are taken at the discretion of the doctor to either rule out more serious conditions or assist us in developing the most effective treatment plan for you.

Same Day Treatment
After the initial examination and appropriate studies are completed, you will generally be provided with their first treatment during this same visit. This may include chiropractic adjustments, therapeutic modalities, active and passive exercise programs, rehabilitation, and lifestyle modification advice.

Homework
To truly maximize your health, certain lifestyle changes may be necessary. This is why our patients will be provided activities such as stretching and exercise to conduct at home. Only you are in charge of your health.

Schedule Your Next Appointment
You will be given a convenient appointment time for your follow-up visit. Generally speaking, patients are seen within 1-2 days of their initial examination (if necessary) and are provided with a complete review of findings.
